FAQ

How do I participate?

Just check the upcoming camps and see if there is some group conducting the camp in your city/area. Just add your name, details about you and your project and join the group on the specified date.
If there are no groups nearby, you can start your own by getting together in some friend's place and hacking.
Or if you are all alone, you can participate from online by logging on to #24camp IRC channel on the Freenode servers (but, you will lose out on meeting new people and discussing/showcasing your project to them)

What kind of projects can I do?

Any project that you are interested/love to do. It can be anything like a web application you wanted to build, compiler for some obscure language, painting/sketching, fixing roads, a neat mechanical contraception or even a rocket etc. The important thing is to get it to a state which you can show/work with.

How many people can do it?

Your wish. You can do it alone or team up with your friends.

Why only 24 hours? I can't complete anything in such a short time.

24 hours is sufficient enough for kickstarting your project. The time constraint will make sure you prioritize your goals and complete the most important task first.

What license should I use for the work I do?

You are free to use whatever license you want to. It would be better if you could use an open source license for code or a creative commons license for other types of work.
